First is to sign-up with SRP to order water during the irrigation times.
Second is the Special Tax District (that’s our IWDD #61). This is included in your yearly property taxes and supports the infrastructure that delivers water to your home.
You can learn all about how the IWDD is structured at Arizona Revised Statutes – Title 48, Chapter 20.
Communication:
Your contact information is vital to assist with your irrigation needs and to keep you up to date on repairs and meetings.
Assessing your irrigation system:
Homeowner initially assesses their own system (ie; access points and valves) to bring their system up to working condition; thereafter, the IWDD is responsible for the majority of repairs and maintenance.
Homeowner continues to maintain berms.
Volunteering time to keep the water flowing:
Everyone is welcome to assist in anyway they can. Duke Manor Irrigation Water Delivery District #61 board meetings are held at least quarterly and neighborhood meeting at least once a year.
There is an ongoing Volunteer Repair Crew that always needs and appreciates a hand with irrigation in Duke Manor.
Email using the link below to reach out to anyone of the IWDD Board members.
